About Us
America’s Pride Federal Credit Union was originally 1021 Federal
Credit Union. 1021
was established on April 5, 1961. The field of membership was
limited to the following common bond: Employees of the Delco Battery
Operations, Delco-Remy Operations, Delco-Remy Division, General
Motors Corporation who worked in Olathe, Kansas; employees of this
credit union and any immediate family members.
In March 2005 the Delphi Battery Factory (formerly known as Delco)
was closed. At that time 1021 requested a conversion to a Johnson
County Community charter. As of January 2007 the conversion was
approved. We now serve all who live, work, or worship in Johnson
County Kansas, and their immediate family members.
Some things remain the same. We are still a warm, friendly
environment. We know our members and their needs. We will always
feel like your hometown Credit Union.
America’s Pride Federal Credit Union is, and will remain, a
cooperative financial institution that is organized by the credit
union members. We hold true to the credit union circle. We provide
very competitive loan rates. Investing in America’s Pride FCU, is
investing in you. We are committed to the privacy, financial growth
and well being of our members. Our employees continue to learn the
services provided and are devoted to helping the member learn what
is best for them. We provide what the competition can, while
providing something most of them can’t. We offer employees who care
about you and your needs. We are here to serve you.
